Jobs Friday After Earnings Week — Calendar Stacking
Not financial advice. Verify claims independently.
This week’s equity calendar runs hard into Friday’s September jobs report (scheduled for Oct 2). Calendar stacking means you do not pretend every ticker and every macro release get equal focus.
A simple stack
- Mon–Tue: leisure / consumer (MTN, CCL, KMX).
- Wed: MU as the flagship; FDS/JBL as secondary.
- Thu: ACN + NKE.
- Fri: jobs — rates, dollar, index futures — then only revisit names whose guides talked labor or consumer demand.
If your calendar app dumps jobs and Micron into the same “important” filter, split them. Macro Fridays punish people who still have five AMC replays open.
